Failure to introduce Goal17 would certainly have several consequences.

Above all, Goal 17 concerns cooperation to achieve all other Sustainable Development Goals and it aims to promote partnership and cooperation between the public, private sectors and civil society organizations. Failure to achieve this goal would mean less international coordination and cooperation, equality, strengthening implementation measures and building partnerships, which could make it more difficult to achieve any of set goals.

Additionally, Goal 17 aims to strengthen enforcement measures and reduce inequalities. Failure to implement this Gola could lead to greater economic disparities between countries and a lack of equal access to resources and opportunities.
