Make cities and human settlements safe, stable, sustainable and socially inclusive
Implementation of Goal 11 will allow to:
ensure that all people have access to adequate, safe, and affordable housing and essential services;
provide all people with access to safe, affordable, and sustainable transport systems and improve road safety;
strengthen efforts to protect and safeguard the world's cultural and natural heritage;
reduce the number of deaths resulting from natural disasters, including floods, and the number of people affected by them;
create systems for proper management of municipal waste and other pollutant;
create universal access to safe and inclusive green spaces and public spaces for all;
support least developed countries, including through financial and technical assistance, to build sustainable and resilient buildings using local materials.
