Goal 13

Take urgent action to combat climate change and its effects

Implementation of Goal 13 will allow to:

strengthen adaptive capacity and resilience to climate threats and natural disasters in all countries;
increase the level of education and potential of humans and institutions;
implement early warning systems against threats;
create mechanisms to enhance capacity for effective climate change planning and management in the least developed countries and small island states, by focusing needs of women and youth, and local and marginalized social groups.
